  • Palm wax candle does not bend or collapses when burned.

  • Palm wax candles of the same dimension burns longer than the paraffin candles.

  • Palm wax is also able to absorb high concentration of fragrance and will keep the aroma longer.

  • The texture of palm wax candle gives a natural crystalline formation.

  • The majority of candles in the world are made from paraffin wax; a petroleum-based by-product of crude oil. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency have acknowledged that paraffin wax contain known toxins.

For this reason, we chose make our candles out of palm wax.

Q: How to tell the difference between a palm wax candle and a paraffin wax candle?

Candles made from paraffin wax usually have a translucent look and palm wax candles had an opaque characteristic. Unscented Paraffin candles have a petroleum odor. After burning, you will also notice that paraffin candles tend to collapsed while the palm wax candles are able to stand firm due to its hard property.

Q: What is the proper way to burn candles?

  • Remove all packaging and warning label from your candle before you light it
You can also place the warning label underneath your holder (votive cup or pillar plate).

  • Before you light a candle trim your wick to between 1/8" - 1/4"
A flame that is smoking or to tall can be a fire hazard as well as cause soot damage to your home. A smoking wick will form black residue (carbon buildup) on your container and will need to be trimmed. Extinguish the flame and let the candle sit until the top layer hardens and the glass or container has cooled off. Trim the wick with scissors, nail clippers or wick trimmers to 1/4". You can now re-light your candle and enjoy a clean safe burn.

  • The first time you light a candle burn it to the edge
Generally you burn a candle one hour for every inch of its diameter. This will allow the pool of wax to reach the outside rim and prevent your candle from burning a tunnel down the center.

  • Do not burn a candle near drafts or flammable materials

  • Do not move a candle while it is burning or if the wax is melted

  • Keep lit candles out of the reach of children and pets

  • NEVER leave a burning candle unattended
